NextCapital is a financial software company that provides digital advice. They have partnered with some of the largest financial institutions such as John Hancock and Transamerica to provide financial plans to consumers with various financial backgrounds for an affordable cost. The application allows investors to provide information on themselves to create a personalized financial plan for retirement.
A rebranding effort occurred in 2015, which established the current logo. Emphasis was placed on the “x” with color and shape, as an arrow is formed by the negative space. Previously, the primary brand color was orange but was changed to to blue to give a sense of competence and honesty. Overall, the branding emphasizes a minimal and clean aesthetic.
